Best bank statement converters for JSON (2026)
Which bank statement converters publish a JSON export, what do they charge, and which ones check the rows against the printed balances first?
Last updated
Last checked October 2026. Deciding column: Exports. 10 tools listed, 1 left out as not published.
What the table shows
Ten of the 26 converters checked in October 2026 publish a JSON export on their own homepage or pricing page: ParseBank, BankXLSX, LedgerBox, MoneyThumb, Lido, Suparse, Rocket Statements, Parseur, Docsumo and MintConvert. A JSON export is what a developer wants from a converter before building anything on its API, and it is the one format that is not meant to be opened by a person. Docsumo lists Business and Enterprise plans quoted on page volume; no list price; Parseur lists $49/month for 100 pages (Micro); $89 for 300; $129 for 1,000; $269 for 3,000; $499 for 10,000; yearly billing about 20% less. EasyLedger does not say on the pages read whether it publishes a JSON export, so it is left out rather than guessed. stmtai is not in this list: its downloads are Excel, CSV, QuickBooks, Xero, Tally XML and QuickBooks CSV, and nothing on this site publishes a JSON export. Every cell below names the page it was read from; a value the site does not show is printed as not published.
- Tally XML. TallyPrime XML export: Receipt and Payment vouchers for Alt+O import, alongside Excel, CSV, QuickBooks and Xero.
- Non-expiring pack. $19 buys 100 pages that never expire, and no statement is charged more than 15 pages.
- API and email-in. REST API and email-in on every plan, including the free one.
- Your file. Deletion of your file starts when processing ends; results are kept 7 days with an account, 1 day without.
- Balance check. There is no per-bank template: every row is added up against the opening and closing balances printed on the statement, and a misread is flagged, not hidden. How the balance check works

Questions
Which of these can I try free?
Seven of the 10 listed publish a free tier rather than a trial. ParseBank: 1 page a day with no account; Free plan 10 pages a month with every export format. BankXLSX: Up to 15 pages (5 per statement) once, with no card; does not renew. LedgerBox: 14-day trial starting with 10 pages (200 after one listed action), no card; a Free plan covers 3 clients and 30 pages a month. Lido: 50 pages, no card. Suparse: 50 pages once, no card, full access. Parseur: Free tier with 20 pages every month. The free tier column has the other 1.
Why is stmtai not in this list?
Because it does not publish a JSON export. Its downloads are Excel, CSV, QuickBooks, Xero, Tally XML and QuickBooks CSV; the page lists only tools whose own site states the thing it is about.
How were the tools chosen?
Each tool's homepage and pricing page were read in October 2026 and the values copied into one table with the URL they came from. A tool appears here when those pages state that it publishes a JSON export; EasyLedger was left out because its pages do not say. Nothing is ranked by opinion; the order is stmtai first, then the tools as they appear in the table.
