Troubleshooting

Rate a conversion and get help when something is wrong

Every results page asks for a thumbs up or down. A note about a wrong result earns signed-in users 5 free pages; here is what is sent and kept.

Last reviewed

Convert a statement free5 pages free, no account.

The card under your result

A few seconds after a result appears, or as soon as you scroll, a small card appears under the transaction table asking how the conversion went. Press It went well or Something was wrong. Dismiss hides it. Your browser remembers the answer for that conversion, so the same result is not asked about again. A batch of statements gets one card for the whole batch.

The card never covers the downloads and does not appear on the sample result.

When something was wrong

A thumbs down, or a result whose balance check is red or grey, opens a box under the question. Say what went wrong in up to 1,000 characters: the row, the column, the amount you expected. Tick the box only if we may open the flagged row and page number of that conversion to diagnose it. Then press Send.

If you are signed in, we read the note and add 5 free pages to your account. They show on your account page once we have read it, and you receive a short email saying the note arrived.

If you are not signed in, you see a thank-you. Create a free account next time: notes like this earn 5 free pages.

You can send three notes a day.

What is sent and kept

The card sends the rating, your note, the conversion reference, the bank name, the page count, whether you ticked the box, and your account id if you are signed in. We keep that for 180 days. The file, its transactions and your email address are never part of it.

Ticking the box lets us look at the flagged row and the page reference of that conversion while the result still exists. It never gives us the file itself, which was deleted when the conversion finished. See the privacy page for everything we store.

If you would rather email

Write to support@stmtai.com with the conversion id from the results page and what went wrong. See Refunds and failed conversions for what happens when a conversion fails outright.
