Tally converters for Indian statements (2026)
Which bank statement converters publish a Tally export and say they read Indian statements, and what do they charge?
Last updated
Last checked October 2026. Deciding column: Tally XML. 4 tools listed, 2 left out as not published.
What the table shows
Four of the 26 converters checked in October 2026 publish a Tally export and name Indian statements or any bank on their own homepage or pricing page: stmtai, ParseStatement, Lido and MintConvert. TallyPrime imports vouchers through Alt+O, Import, Transactions from an XML file; a Tally CSV is a different route and the table says which each tool publishes. Of these 4 Tally tools, ParseStatement and MintConvert name Indian banks on their own pages (HDFC, SBI and ICICI); the Banks named column has each list. Password-protected PDFs are unlocked in your browser: drop the file, type the bank's published password when prompted, and the unlocked copy is what uploads. The password never leaves your device. ParseStatement lists $9/month for 500 pages (Starter); $19/month for 1,500 (Growth); $39/month for 5,000 (Business); unused paid pages roll over up to twice the allowance; Lido lists $29/month for 100 pages, 1 user (Standard); $7,840/year for 42,000 pages with API and workflow access (Scale; the same page's FAQ says $7,000/year); Enterprise from $35,000/year; the converter page also quotes $119/month for 500 and $199/month for 1,000 pages. CleanStmt and EasyLedger do not say on the pages read whether they publish a Tally export and name Indian statements or any bank, so they are left out rather than guessed. stmtai is in the list on the same terms, with its limits (12-file batch cap, no MT940, BAI2 or camt.053 input, no analytics), and every cell below names the page it was read from; a value a site does not show is printed as not published.
- Tally XML. TallyPrime XML export: Receipt and Payment vouchers for Alt+O import, alongside Excel, CSV, QuickBooks and Xero.
- Non-expiring pack. $19 buys 100 pages that never expire, and no statement is charged more than 15 pages.
- API and email-in. REST API and email-in on every plan, including the free one.
- Your file. Deletion of your file starts when processing ends; results are kept 7 days with an account, 1 day without.
- Balance check. There is no per-bank template: every row is added up against the opening and closing balances printed on the statement, and a misread is flagged, not hidden. How the balance check works

Which to pick
stmtai: Statements only, with the balance proven before download, TallyPrime XML, and the API and email-in on every plan including the free one. 5 pages are free with no account, and the "Tally XML" column above is read from this site's own pages like every other row. Its limits: 12-file batch cap, no MT940, BAI2 or camt.053 input, no analytics.
ParseStatement: Indian bank and wallet statements (PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm) at the lowest subscription price per page in this table. Price: $9/month for 500 pages (Starter); $19/month for 1,500 (Growth); $39/month for 5,000 (Business); unused paid pages roll over up to twice the allowance.
Lido: Teams extracting many document types (invoices, receipts, contracts, statements) with validation rules, SOC 2 Type 2 and HIPAA paperwork. Price: $29/month for 100 pages, 1 user (Standard); $7,840/year for 42,000 pages with API and workflow access (Scale; the same page's FAQ says $7,000/year); Enterprise from $35,000/year; the converter page also quotes $119/month for 500 and $199/month for 1,000 pages.
MintConvert: The widest export list in this table, including Tally XML, Zoho Books, FreshBooks and Google Sheets, with a free plan for single conversions. Price: Pro $19/month (listed at $29 with a discount applied); Free plan with unlimited single conversions and all export formats; bulk conversions on Pro.

Questions
Which of these can I try free?
Four of the 4 listed publish a free tier rather than a trial. stmtai: 5 pages with no account, then 10 pages a month with a free account; every export included. ParseStatement: 5 pages with no account, or 10 pages a day signed in; free pages reset daily. Lido: 50 pages, no card. MintConvert: Unlimited single conversions with all export formats.
Does stmtai publish a Tally export and name Indian statements or any bank?
Yes, as the table shows from this site's own pages. The things it does not do are listed too: 12-file batch cap, no MT940, BAI2 or camt.053 input, no analytics. The first 5 pages need no account, so the quickest check is to drop a statement in below and look at the result.
How were the tools chosen?
Each tool's homepage and pricing page were read in October 2026 and the values copied into one table with the URL they came from. A tool appears here when those pages state that it publishes a Tally export and names Indian statements or any bank; CleanStmt and EasyLedger were left out because their pages do not say. Nothing is ranked by opinion; the order is stmtai first, then the tools as they appear in the table.
How do I import the file into TallyPrime?
Click Tally XML. Money in becomes a Receipt voucher and money out becomes a Payment voucher. Each voucher has two ledger entries whose amounts add to zero. The XML names the bank ledger after the bank and the last four account digits (HDFC Bank 4821, for example). Its other side is a ledger named Statement Import Clearing. Both must exist in the company before you import: create them, or rename your existing ledgers to match. The full steps are on the Bank statement to Tally XML page.
