What the table shows
14 of the 26 converters checked in October 2026 name Canada or any bank as a market on their own homepage or pricing page: stmtai, ParseBank, BankXLSX, DocuClipper, LedgerBox, Lido, ConvertStatement, Rocket Statements, FlowParse, CapyParse, StatementToBudget, Documentric, StatementVision and MintConvert. Dates are shown as day and short month with no year on most statements, with the year fixed by the period in the header; TD compresses them to JAN02 and puts the date column after the amounts. Amounts use a point for decimals and a comma for thousands on English statements; Desjardins and French-language National Bank statements use French month abbreviations and print a negative balance with a trailing minus. Every major bank prints a balance on each row and an opening and closing balance line, so the running check is exact. US dollar accounts get a separate statement in the same layout, so name the files by currency. Canadian banks with their own page on this site: RBC, TD Canada Trust, Scotiabank, BMO, CIBC, National Bank and Desjardins. Of the 14 listed, DocuClipper, ConvertStatement and Rocket Statements name Canadian banks on their own pages (RBC, TD Canada Trust, CIBC, National Bank and Desjardins); the Banks named column has each list. BankXLSX lists $49/month ($24 billed yearly) for 800 Base AI or 80 Pro AI pages (Starter); $149/month ($74 yearly) for 1,920/192 pages (Plus, adds QBO and bulk upload); $499/month ($249 yearly) for 6,800/680 pages (Pro, adds the API); ParseBank lists $30/month for 400 pages (Starter); $60/month for 1,000 pages (Business, adds the REST API); $99/month for 4,000 pages (Corporate); monthly plans only. BankQBO, MoneyThumb, Suparse, Parseur, Nanonets, Docsumo, CleanStmt, StatementTable and EasyLedger do not say on the pages read whether they name Canada or any bank as a market, so they are left out rather than guessed. stmtai is in the list on the same terms, and so are its limits: 12-file batch cap, no MT940, BAI2 or camt.053 input, no analytics. Every cell below names the page it was read from; a value the site does not show is printed as not published.
- Tally XML. TallyPrime XML export: Receipt and Payment vouchers for Alt+O import, alongside Excel, CSV, QuickBooks and Xero.
- Non-expiring pack. $19 buys 100 pages that never expire, and no statement is charged more than 15 pages.
- API and email-in. REST API and email-in on every plan, including the free one.
- Your file. Deletion of your file starts when processing ends; results are kept 7 days with an account, 1 day without.
- Balance check. There is no per-bank template: every row is added up against the opening and closing balances printed on the statement, and a misread is flagged, not hidden. How the balance check works

Questions
Which of these can I try free?
Twelve of the 14 listed publish a free tier rather than a trial. stmtai: 5 pages with no account, then 10 pages a month with a free account; every export included. ParseBank: 1 page a day with no account; Free plan 10 pages a month with every export format. BankXLSX: Up to 15 pages (5 per statement) once, with no card; does not renew. LedgerBox: 14-day trial starting with 10 pages (200 after one listed action), no card; a Free plan covers 3 clients and 30 pages a month. Lido: 50 pages, no card. ConvertStatement: 10 pages with no account; 50 pages a month with a free account. The free tier column has the other 6.
Does stmtai convert Canadian bank statements?
Yes. Its own page for Canadian bank statements (linked above) has the download steps and the layout notes, and this table reads this site like every other row. The things it does not do are listed too: 12-file batch cap, no MT940, BAI2 or camt.053 input, no analytics. The first 5 pages need no account, so the quickest check is to drop a statement in below and look at the result.
How were the tools chosen?
Each tool's homepage and pricing page were read in October 2026 and the values copied into one table with the URL they came from. A tool appears here when those pages state that it names Canada or any bank as a market; BankQBO, MoneyThumb, Suparse, Parseur, Nanonets, Docsumo, CleanStmt, StatementTable and EasyLedger were left out because their pages do not say. Nothing is ranked by opinion; the order is stmtai first, then the tools as they appear in the table.
