What the table shows

Nine of the 26 converters checked in October 2026 publish a batch upload and describe a balance check on their own homepage or pricing page: stmtai, BankQBO, DocuClipper, LedgerBox, FlowParse, CapyParse, StatementToBudget, Documentric and StatementBridge. An accountant converts a year at a time at the deadline and needs each statement proven before a figure goes into the return. Tax season means 40 to 100 individual and small-company returns, and for perhaps a third of them the bank statements are the books. A year typed into Excel by a junior comes back with totals that do not agree to the statements, and there is no time to find out why. StatementToBudget lists Pro and Bookkeeper monthly plans and a Page Pack whose credits do not expire; a single file can be unlocked for $9.99; the plan figures are not readable in the fetched text; BankQBO lists $49/month ($24 billed yearly) for 2,500 Base AI or 500 Pro AI pages (Starter, Excel and CSV only); $149/month ($74 yearly) for 10,000/2,000 pages (Plus, adds .qbo and bulk upload); $499/month ($249 yearly) for 35,000/8,000 pages (Pro, adds the API); Enterprise $9,980/month. ParseBank, BankXLSX, ParseStatement, MoneyThumb, Lido, Suparse, ConvertStatement, Rocket Statements, Parseur, Nanonets, Docsumo, CreditCardToExcel, StatementVision, MintConvert, CleanStmt, StatementTable and EasyLedger do not say on the pages read whether they publish a batch upload and describe a balance check, so they are left out rather than guessed. stmtai is in the list on the same terms, and so are its limits: 12-file batch cap, no MT940, BAI2 or camt.053 input, no analytics. Every cell below names the page it was read from; a value the site does not show is printed as not published.

Which to pick

  • BankQBO: Firms clearing a client backlog into QuickBooks: large page allowances and 50-file bulk upload on Plus. Price: $49/month ($24 billed yearly) for 2,500 Base AI or 500 Pro AI pages (Starter, Excel and CSV only); $149/month ($74 yearly) for 10,000/2,000 pages (Plus, adds .qbo and bulk upload); $499/month ($249 yearly) for 35,000/8,000 pages (Pro, adds the API); Enterprise $9,980/month.

  • DocuClipper: Firms that also extract invoices, receipts and brokerage statements and want a direct push into QuickBooks Online or Xero, with SOC 2 Type II paperwork. Price: $20.30/month billed annually for 60 pages (Starter); $111.30/month billed annually for 640 pages (Business); $279.30/month billed annually for 1,800 pages; unlimited users on every plan; unused pages do not carry forward.

Questions

Which of these can I try free?

Eight of the 9 listed publish a free tier rather than a trial. stmtai: 5 pages with no account, then 10 pages a month with a free account; every export included. BankQBO: First 3 statements free, once, no card; Excel and CSV with a watermark. LedgerBox: 14-day trial starting with 10 pages (200 after one listed action), no card; a Free plan covers 3 clients and 30 pages a month. FlowParse: 10 pages a month free, no card; Smart Merge of up to 5 files; CSV and Excel export; API access. CapyParse: 10 free pages on the Free plan, no expiry, no credit card; CSV, Excel and QBO export. StatementToBudget: 3 pages free with no signup. The free tier column has the other 2.

Does stmtai publish a batch upload and describe a balance check?

Yes, as the table shows from this site's own pages. The things it does not do are listed too: 12-file batch cap, no MT940, BAI2 or camt.053 input, no analytics. The first 5 pages need no account, so the quickest check is to drop a statement in below and look at the result.

How were the tools chosen?

Each tool's homepage and pricing page were read in October 2026 and the values copied into one table with the URL they came from. A tool appears here when those pages state that it publishes a batch upload and describes a balance check; ParseBank, BankXLSX, ParseStatement, MoneyThumb, Lido, Suparse, ConvertStatement, Rocket Statements, Parseur, Nanonets, Docsumo, CreditCardToExcel, StatementVision, MintConvert, CleanStmt, StatementTable and EasyLedger were left out because their pages do not say. Nothing is ranked by opinion; the order is stmtai first, then the tools as they appear in the table.

Why is "Batch" the deciding column for accountants?

The batch cell says a year can go in as one job; the balance check cell says the tool compares the rows with the printed balances, which is the tie-out a working paper needs. A tool whose cell is not published is named above as left out rather than guessed.

Is there a page on this site for accountants and tax preparers?

Yes: "Bank statements to working papers for accountants", linked under Related. The client turns up in March with twelve statements in a carrier bag, or emails twelve PDFs the week before the deadline. You need every transaction in a spreadsheet, and you need to be able to show that the spreadsheet is complete. A total that does not agree to the bank is not a working paper, it is a guess.
